In this article, we will discuss how you can configure the default commissionable employee for products.
Things to know:
- If the "Default Product Commission To" setting is set to “In-House Sale” and there are no services on the ticket, the staff member associated with the first product will be designated as In-House Sale.
- If the "Default Product Commission To" setting is set to “Logged In User” and there are no services on the ticket, the staff member associated with the first product will be the logged-in user.
- If the logged-in staff member is not configured to receive commissions, the system will default to In-House Sale.
- When a service is included on the ticket, the staff member for the first product will be the same as the service provider. If multiple products are added to the ticket, the commissionable staff member selected for the previous item will be applied to the additional products.
- On the ticket, you can change the product commissionable employee from "Logged in User" to "In-House Sale." If the logged-in staff member is not the one who actually sold the product to the client, you can update it to reflect the name of the staff member who completed the sale.
