Marking A Pet As Deceased

In this article, we will walk through the steps to take to mark a pet as deceased. 


Things to know:

  • The word “Deceased” will be shown in parentheses next to the name of the pet that was marked as deceased on the pet profile and in reports
  • Deceased pets will be displayed last in the pet section when viewing from the client profile
  • Notifications for automated messages and campaigns will not be sent to pets marked as deceased, only active ones


Marking a Pet as Deceased

1. Navigate to ClientsIMG_0519.jpeg

2. Locate and open the client profile with the deceased pet

3. Click the edit icon to open the pet's profile                                                                                                                                 IMG_0521.jpeg

A modal with the pet's profile will appear

4. On the pet's profile, check the checkbox beside 'Deceased'IMG_0524.jpeg

Save


Once saved, you will notice that the status of the pet will display as "Deceased" on the account
