In this article, we will walk through the steps to take to mark a pet as deceased.
Things to know:
- The word “Deceased” will be shown in parentheses next to the name of the pet that was marked as deceased on the pet profile and in reports
- Deceased pets will be displayed last in the pet section when viewing from the client profile
- Notifications for automated messages and campaigns will not be sent to pets marked as deceased, only active ones
Marking a Pet as Deceased
1. Navigate to Clients
2. Locate and open the client profile with the deceased pet
3. Click the edit icon to open the pet's profile
A modal with the pet's profile will appear
4. On the pet's profile, check the checkbox beside 'Deceased'
Save
Once saved, you will notice that the status of the pet will display as "Deceased" on the account
