Deleting Labels

In this article we will guide you through the steps to delete labels from both the label management list and client profiles.


Things to Know:

  • Predefined labels set up by MyTime cannot be deleted, only labels created by your business
  • Labels created at the parent level cannot be deleted at the child level
  • Removing a label from the label management list impacts all customers associated with it, whereas removing a label from a client's profile affects only that specific client.


Deleting Labels from the Label Management List

To delete a label from the label list:

  1. Go to the Clients tab
  2. Expand the Manage Clients menu  
  3. Click Manage Labels
  4. On the Manage Label page, click the drop-down arrow
  5. Select the red x icon next to the label you want to delete
  6. A popup box will open asking you to confirm the deletion                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   


Deleting Labels from the Client's Profile

To delete a label from a client's profile:

  1. Go to the Clients tab
  2. Search for the client using the search bar or filter by the label  
  3. Open the client's profile then click the edit icon
  4. Locate the labels area on the edit details modal and click the x next to the label you want to remove
  5. Save
