For multi-staff appointments, merchants have the option to allow services to be connected (locked) by default or disconnected (unlocked). In this article, we will guide you through the steps to configure these settings.
Things to Know:
The ability to move services within multi-staff appointments independently is governed by the "Accessing Appointments" access control setting.
When the services are connected (locked), the next service's start time is tied to the previous service's end time. When disconnected (unlocked), it can be scheduled for any time on the same date as the previous services.
Appointments not linked to a ticket will present the "Create Ticket" button in the appointment modal, whereas appointments associated with a ticket will show the option "View Ticket."

- Book a multi-staff appointment. Learn more here
- The first service's end time and the start time for the second service will be the same. However, the start time for the second service can easily be adjusted because it is disconnected (unlocked).

- Once you have selected a convenient time, click "Save"
If the setting is disabled, the services within the appointment will be connected (locked) by default. Once the appointment is locked, you cannot edit the start time of the second service. It will automatically start at the same time as the end time of the first service.
If the start time of the second service is adjusted, it will no longer remain linked to the first service. Instead, it will appear as a separate appointment on the calendar.
