Once tipping is enabled on your account, tickets in the POS will feature a tip field where clients can leave a tip. You can also enter tips from receipts into MyTime and apply them to the charge after the client has left. This article will walk you through the steps to use the "tips on printed receipts" feature.
Things to Know:
- To enable tipping, the "Allow Clients to Leave Tips?" setting must be activated on your account
- The option to add a tip will appear on the ticket only if a service is included
- The settle later feature enables you to include a tip on receipts, offering clients greater flexibility in how they pay for tips.
- To ensure the proper functionality of the Settle Later feature, it is essential to provide customers with a method to sign and add tips. This can be achieved by utilizing either the MyTime Scheduler app available on iOS or Android, or by pairing a receipt printer with MyTime.
