In this article, we will discuss how you can add or withdraw cash from the register at any time of the day.
Things to know:
- If you opt to withdraw tips and no tips have been collected for the day, the staff drop-down menu will display "No Employees." Once tips are collected, the employees' names will become available for selection in the drop-down menu.
- When withdrawing tips, you can select the specific ticket to withdraw from. By default, all tickets linked to the staff member will be selected. You can deselect any tickets for clients whose tips you do not want to withdraw.
- The register will record all deposit and withdrawal transactions, including the staff member who processed them, as well as the date and time.
- Deposited cash is instantly updated and displayed in the register's Current Cash section.
Depositing/Withdrawing Cash
To deposit or withdraw cash, simply:
- Navigating to POS > Registers
- Select Enter Register button next to the desired register
- Next, select the Add/Withdraw button
- Select the Deposit/Withdraw option, you can also add a note if you so desire
- Save your changes
This will be recorded in the register as an adjustment.
