Manually Split Tips

You can split tips manually between staff members who were involved in a service. This can be done on the new ticket or closed ticket screen. In this article, we will walk through how to split tips on the new ticket and closed ticket pages.


Things to know: 

  • The staff list on the split tip modal will include all staff members including account owners
  • Staff members in the split tip modal on POS tickets are arranged alphabetically 


To allocate a tip to multiple staff members on the new ticket page:

  1. Navigate to POS > New Ticket 
  2. Add an appointment to the ticket
  3. Enter an amount in the tip field

  5. When the Split Tip modal pops up, select the + Add Staff Member  unnamed_-_2021-12-20T173352.839.png
  6. Select a staff member from the drop-down and the amount the other staff should receive unnamed_-_2021-12-20T173430.396.png
  7. Save 


To allocate a tip to multiple staff members on the closed ticket page:

  1. Navigate to POS > Closed Tickets
  2. Locate the ticket

  4. When the Split Tip modal pops up, select the + Add Staff Member link unnamed_-_2021-12-20T173538.134.png
  5. Select a staff member and the amount the other staff should receive 
  6. Save
