We offer the ability to purchase packages online via the booking widget. In this article, we'll walk through the steps of purchasing a package online.
Things to know:
- To sell packages online, you need a merchant payment account, which enables your business to accept card payments. If you don’t have one, please email support@mytime.com for further assistance.
- To ensure that a package is visible online for clients to purchase, make sure the "Enable Online Purchase" setting is set to "Yes" when configuring your package on the Packages tab. Steps to do this can be found here.
When purchasing packages online, clients can buy multiple packages in various quantities if the packages are set up for all family members or pets. This feature is controlled by a hidden setting that only the MyTime team can enable. To activate this setting, please contact our Support Team at support@mytime.com. Please note that if the "Can only be purchased once per client" option is enabled during package configuration, the ability to purchase multiple quantities will not be available.
- When purchasing packages online, clients have the option to authorize the business to securely store their card information for future transactions during the checkout process.
- If a client is not signed into their account during checkout to complete a purchase, they will be prompted to log in. If they do not have an account, they can click the "Sign Up" link to create one.
- For Australian business accounts, when clients purchase packages via the booking widget and enter credit card details on the checkout page, the 'Add' button to save the card for future purchases will not be visible. However, the authorization checkbox will still be available.
Steps to Purchase a Package on the Booking Widget
Go to your booking widget
- Select the desired location
Click on the Packages hyperlink
Select the desired package(s)
For individual packages, click the "Buy" button. For packages configured for all family members or pets (for pet merchants), clients will have the option to specify the quantity they wish to purchase.
- Click on the "Continue To Checkout" button
Enter card details. To ensure that the card is not saved on file, simply uncheck the "I authorize Company X to save my card on file" setting
Click on “Complete Purchase”
On the confirmation page, there is a Book Appointment button. Selecting the button will direct your clients to the service page where they can book future appointments covered by the package they just purchased or appointments not covered by the package.
Once you have purchased a package, appointments or classes booked online will have the “In Package” label.
