Deleting User Account in Guest App

Clients can delete their MyTime user account using the Guest App. This article will guide you through the steps to delete your account from the app.
 
Things to know:
  • This feature is exclusively available in the iOS version of the Guest App
  • User Account: Clients can create user accounts online at mytime.com, through the booking widget, or via your custom guest app. When a client creates a user account, a profile or record is also established. This user account includes an email address and password. While a user account and a client profile can be linked, they are distinct entities.
  • Client Profile: This is stored on your MyTime account under the Clients tab. A person may have a client profile or record at your business without having a user account.
  • Deleting a user account from the guest app removes the password and login credentials but does not affect the client profile or record in the store. Consequently, it has no impact on POS tickets, the scheduler, reports, or other related features.


Deleting Account
  1. Open and log into the guest app
  2. Click the "My Account" icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen                                                                            mceclip0.png       
  3. Once on the "My Account" page, scroll to the bottom to locate the "Delete My Account" option                                                                     
  4. After clicking the "Delete My Account" link, your user account will be deleted and you will be logged out of the MyTime Guest App
