Shopify Integration - Buy Online & Pick Up In Store

Enabling in-store pickup (also known as “buy online, pick up in store” or BOPIS) on your Shopify store can be a valuable feature for your clients. It offers convenience and flexibility, allowing customers to shop online and then collect their purchases at your physical store location. In this article we will walk through the steps on how your clients can buy online on your shopify store and pick up at your MyTime location. 


Things to know:

  • You must have an active Shopify plan. Learn more about Shopify plans here
  • Shopify integration is controlled by a hidden setting that only the MyTime team can enable. To enable the hidden setting, please contact our Support Team at support@mytime.com.

Authorize MyTime App on Shopify Store


To authorize MyTime app on Shopify store, follow the instructions listed here


Enable Buy Online Pick Up In-Store on Shopify


To enable pick up in store option on Shopify, follow the instructions listed here


Buy Online  


On Shopify, your clients will:

  1. Visit your Shopify store online
  2. Browse through products and add desired items to their shopping cart 
  3. Review the items, then click "Checkout"
  4. Under Delivery, choose "Pick Up"

  7. Select "Pay Now" to finalize the order


Fulfill Orders In MyTime


In MyTime:

  1. Navigate to POS > Open Tickets 
  2. Select the Shopify icon at the top right of the page shopify.png
  3. When the "Shopify In-Store Pickup" modal opens, select the desired location shop.png
  4. Select the Shopify order number to view the quantity of the product 
  5. Adjust the status to "Picked Up"
  6. Confirm the action to complete the order pickup process


The following will happen:

  • MyTime Inventory: The quantity in your MyTime inventory will decrease

  • Shopify Inventory: The quantity in your Shopify inventory will decrease

  • Reporting: The Inventory Adjustment report will accurately reflect the inventory adjustment
