Deep Linking Packages on the Booking Widget

We offer the ability to create a button or link which will add a specific package directly to your clients' shopping cart for online purchases via your website. In this article, we will walk through the configuration process.  

To create a direct link to a package on your website:

1. Navigate to Business Setup > Website Tools 
2. Select the Setup button next to "Add Appointment Booking to Your Website"
3. Next, select either the Booking Widget or Express Checkout options then proceed to set up the widget                                                                                                         

Booking Widget

   1. On the Customize Booking Theme page, set up your button and widget theme then select next to proceed to the installation page. 
   2. From the Installation page:
      • Select a specific location from the Default Location dropdown menu
      • Select “Packages” from the Widget Includes dropdown menu
      • A list of all of the packages available for the location selected will be displayed in the Purchase Specific Package dropdown menu. You can then choose the specific package that you wish to be deep linked.
   3. Once you have made your selection, copy the generated code
   4. Paste the code where you would like it to appear on your website

Express Checkout

1. On the Booking Settings page, you can customize the booking page theme page, set up your button and widget themes, and choose what you'd like the layout of your button to look like
   • In the left panel
     • Default Location: For the package embed flow to work, you must choose a location. The location is required to search for the package correctly
     • Booking Page Includes: Select “Packages” from the Widget Includes dropdown menu; multiple selections can be made to include memberships, services, gift cards, etc
     • Purchase Specific Package: Select the specific package
     • Google Tag Manager: Learn more here

     • Facebook Pixel: Learn More here
   • Under the Book Button setting:
     • Your button can hover over your website or have a fixed placement 
     • You can also choose the button position and it will appear either horizontally or vertically on your page 
     • You will also be able to choose the default location, then select next to proceed to the installation page 
2. Once you have made your selection, copy the generated code
3. Paste the code where you would like it to appear on your website 

When your customers select the link or button on your website, the specific package will be selected by default and it will skip right to the payment page as seen in the image below.
