Managing Waiver Expiration

Modified on Thu, 11 Sep at 2:44 PM

You can configure waivers in MyTime to either never expire or to expire after a specific number of days. Setting an expiration ensures that clients regularly review and accept your most up-to-date terms and conditions. This article covers:

  • How to set up waiver expiration
  • How expired waivers appear on client profiles and appointments
  • What happens when a waiver expires

Things to know:

  • The ability to configure waiver expiration is controlled by the 'Manage Client Setup' access control setting.
  • Active and expired waivers both remain visible on client profiles. However, if a waiver has expired, signing a new version of the same waiver will automatically replace and remove the expired one from the client profile.
  • You can set a custom validity period (in days) for each waiver.
  • If a waiver is still active, it must be manually deleted from the client profile before a new waiver can be added.
  • Waivers created through custom appointment fields display in the appointment modal’s notes section, with the expiration date shown in parentheses.
