MyTime can be integrated with Facebook through the Meta Conversions API, allowing you to track when a client makes a purchase, books an appointment, or adds an item to their cart on our booking widget.
Things to know:
- You will be required to access your Meta Pixel ID and Access Token, along with the Meta Conversion Actions you would like to be tracked
- MyTime also integrates with Meta through Meta Pixel for tracking various data. The key difference between Meta Pixel and the Conversions API is how they track data:
- Meta Pixel: Operates on the browser side using cookies and local data.
- Meta Conversions API: Tracks data on the server side, bypassing any privacy extensions or apps that could block information sent to Meta using Pixel. Learn more about Meta Pixel here
- To use the Meta Conversions API, you must have a Facebook business manager account.
- To use the Meta Conversions API, you need a business manager account on Facebook
- This integration works on a per-child account basis and does not apply to the parent level
- When a new type of event is received for the first time, it needs to be confirmed. A red warning will appear on the data sources page indicating this.
- Receiving events in the Meta UI is not instant and can take up to 30 minutes to see the events
