We offer the option to create a button or link that enables clients to add a specific service directly to their shopping cart for online purchases on your website. This guide will walk you through the configuration process.
To create a direct link to a service on your website:
1. Navigate to Business Setup > Website Tools
2. Select the Setup button next to "Add Appointment Booking to Your Website"
3. Next, select either the Booking Widget or Express Checkout options then proceed to set up the widget
Booking Widget
1. On the Customize Booking Theme page, set up your button and widget theme then select next to proceed to the installation page.
2. From the Installation page:
- Select a Location- Choose a location from the Default Location dropdown menu.
- Customize Widget Content- Select "Book Services" from the Widget Includes dropdown menu.
- Set Default Service Location- Use the Default Service Location dropdown to specify whether the widget should default to in-store or the client’s location.
- Set Default View- Select "Book Services" from the Default To dropdown menu.
- Choose a Service Category- Pick a category from the Default Service Category dropdown menu.
- Select a Specific Service- Choose the desired service from the Default Service Variation dropdown menu.
- Assign Staff- Select staff members eligible to perform the service from the Default Staff Member dropdown menu.
3. Once you have made your selection, copy the generated code
4. Paste the code where you would like it to appear on your website
Express Checkout
1. On the Booking Settings page, you can customize the booking page theme page, set up your button and widget themes, and choose what you'd like the layout of your button to look like
- In the left panel:
- Select a Location- Choose a location from the Default Location dropdown menu.
- Customize Widget Content- Select "Book Services" from the Widget Includes dropdown menu.
- Set Default Service Location- Use the Default Service Location dropdown to specify whether the widget should default to in-store or the client’s location.
- Set Default View- Select "Book Services" from the Default To dropdown menu.
- Choose a Service Category- Pick a category from the Default Service Category dropdown menu.
- Select a Specific Service- Choose the desired service from the Default Service Variation dropdown menu.
- Assign Staff- Select staff members eligible to perform the service from the Default Staff Member dropdown menu.
- Under the Book Button setting, you can customize how the button appears on your website:
- Choose whether the button hovers over your website or has a fixed placement.
- Adjust the button’s position, displaying it horizontally or vertically on the page.
- Set a default location before proceeding to the installation page.
2. Once you have made your selection, copy the generated code
3. Paste the code where you would like it to appear on your website
When your customers select the link or button on your website, the specific service will be selected by default, and it will skip right to the pick a time page.
