Inventory Turns Report

The Inventory Turns report provides data on the quantity of retail products sold and unsold within a specified time period. This article will walk you through the steps to access the Inventory Turns report.


Things to know:

  • Only stocked products are included in this report
  • Products with multiple SKUs will be displayed individually in the report
  • If you select the "By Location" option, you can compare metrics across different locations and location groupings to evaluate performance in product sales. The report will also show retail stock levels and the number of products sold at each location.
  • If you choose the "By Product" option, the report will display the total amount of retail stock for each SKU.


To access this report:


1. Navigate to the Dashboard

2. Select the Reports tab

3. Under the Point Of Sale section, select the Inventory Turns report

When the report opens, you can filter by a specific location or product. Below the By Product and By Location filter, you have the ability to export this report to CSV, PDF, or print version.


Once you have selected your filters, click on the UPDATE button to generate the desired data.



Report Filters


FilterDescription
LocationThe location where the product was sold
DateThe date the product was sold
Product CategoriesSelect products exclusively within a selected category or all categories
BrandsSelect products exclusively within a selected brand or all brands
VendorsSelect products exclusively assigned to a specific vendor or all vendors
Products

All Products - Products sold and not sold for the filtered date range

Products Sold - Products that have been sold in the filtered date range 

Products Not Sold - Products that have not been sold within the filtered date range


Report Columns


ColumnDescription
Product NameThe full name of the SKU. Clicking the product name will take you directly to the product on the inventory page
SKU NameThe unique stock-keeping unit associated with the specific version of a product
SKU #The product ID used by your wholesaler or distributor
Barcode The barcode associated with the specific product
Category Category associated with the product
BrandBrand of the product
VendorThe vendor responsible for supplying the product
Retail StockThe total retail quantity of the product on hand
Quantity SoldThe quantity sold for each product
