In MyTime, users have the flexibility to clock in and out at their discretion, choosing from various work types set up by the business. This article will guide you through the process of clocking in and out using both the web interface and the mobile app.
Things to know:
- The ability to clock in and out is controlled by the Clock/Clock Out access control
- Only staff members with support and service provider roles can clock in and out on MyTime
- If you have been assigned to multiple locations, it is vital that you pay attention to the location you select while clocking in
- If a staff member was clocked in for a work type that is not eligible for commissions, then no commission will be paid on services performed or items sold while clocked in with that work type.
To clock in:
- Using your MyTime account credentials, log into MyTime
- Navigate to the schedule
- Filter by Day View or Agenda View
- Select your name on the bar above the calendar
- Choose "Clock In" next to the designated work type
- Once clocked in, the icon will turn green
The same steps can be used to clock out.
