Enter Clocked Hours Manually on the Schedule

In this article, we will guide you through the steps to manually record work hours for your staff members.


Things to know:

  • The ability to manually record work hours, instead of having staff members clock in/out, is controlled by a hidden setting that only the MyTime team can enable. To enable this hidden setting, please contact our Support Team at support@mytime.com.
  • When manually adding work hours, you can only input hours for the current day, not for any previous days.
  • Details about work hours added manually can be viewed in the Audit report.


Enter Clocked Hours Manually on the Schedule

Once the hidden setting is enabled:

  1. Navigate to the Schedule
  2. Filter by location
  3. On the left-hand side of the schedule, click on the "Record Work Hours" buttonScreenshot 2024-08-01 183612.jpg
  4.   5. The name of each employee will be visible on the modal. You can enter the number of hours each employee spends in each work type.

  6. Based on the hours entered for each work type, the Daily Total column will display the total amount of hours recorded for the day for each employee, while the Weekly Total column will show the total hours entered for the week for each employee.

  7. Once you have finished adding the hours for each employee under each work type, click "Save"

  8. Once you click "Save," the modal will display your name, the date, and the time when the hours were added. Each time you update the hours, the details will be recorded on the modal.Screenshot 2024-08-02 140158.png
