Creating Blockages

Modified on Fri, 17 Jan at 9:08 AM

The Block Off Time option allows you to create blockages, such as for lunch breaks or other time-off needs. You can set these blockages to recur and customize the color in which they appear on your schedule.

Things to Know:

  • The blockage created will appear on your schedule and block availability online for the specified staff member and time.
  • Blockages override bookings per time slot. For example, if a staff member is set to accept 10 bookings per time slot but has a blockage on their schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, no availability will be displayed online for that day due to the blockage.
  • For recurring blockages, if no end time is specified, the blockage will persist indefinitely until it is manually deleted.

To set a blockage:

  1. Navigate to the schedule
  2. Click on the ‘New Appointment’ button below the calendar on the left-hand side of the Schedule or on a specific time slot directly in the schedule                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             app.png
