Location Management

At MyTime, you can manage multiple child accounts and their respective locations at the parent level using the location management tab. This article will guide you in creating, filtering, and deleting franchise locations at the parent level.


Things to know:

  • Child accounts are listed alphabetically on the location management tab, regardless of their creation date
  • When adding a new child account, you have the option to use the template of an existing child account, which will automatically replicate the account settings and other configurations to the new account.
  • Deleting a child account will result in the automatic deletion of all clients, appointments, employees, and services associated with that child account.
  • To delete a child account, you must first remove the associated location(s)

Adding Child Accounts


  1. Log in as the franchisor (the parent account owner)
  2. Navigate to the Location Management tab21504993-26507a51e93b6d6aee7070c60baff3d4.png
  3. Select the +Add Child Account button
  4. The "Add Child Account" modal will appear, where you can add the following:
    • First Name: The first name of the franchise owner
    • Last Name: The last name of the franchise owner
    • Company Name: The business name of the franchise
    • Phone Number: -The phone number for the franchise owner
    • Email Address: The email address for the franchise owner
    • Brand Name: The business' brand name
    • MyTime Subscription: Select from the drop-down menu the desired subscription
    • Paid By: Select whether the subscription will be covered by the franchisor or require franchisees to enter a credit card for direct billing. 
  5. Once all the required fields are completed, don’t forget to save!


Once the location owner is created, you can now add locations.


Adding Locations


To add a location:

  1. Expand the arrow next to the franchise account and click on the +Add Location link
  2. The Add Location modal will appear, where you can add the following:  
    • Travel to Customers: Checking this box means you provide a mobile business where you travel to your customer's house
    • Child Account Owner: This is prefilled with the name of the child account owner
    • Location Nickname: This can be customized to any nickname you wish to give the franchise
    • Store ID: - Unique number/letters 
    • Entity ID: - Unique number/letters 
    • Country: Select the county from the dropdown
    • Street Address: Enter the business' address
    • State: Enter the business' state
    • Zip Code: Enter the business's address zip code
    • Phone number for this location: The business' phone number
    • Email address for this location: The business' email address
    • Tax Number: The business' tax number
    • Grouping: If location groups were previously configured, they will be listed here for you to check. Once the group is checked, the location will be 
    • Cover Photo: A cover photo of the business can be added here
    • Photo of your Business (Up to 10) Photos of the business can be added here
    • Online Presence: Here, you can add links to your website and social platforms
  3. Click the "Save location info" button 
  4. Once saved, the information will be updated on the Location Management page

  6. You can filter to show only specific locations under location management by using the location dropdown menuAll Location.jpg


Deleting Child Accounts


You can delete child accounts and their locations from the location management page by following these steps:

  1. Expand the arrow next to the franchise account you wish to delete, then click the "Edit Location" link
  2. On the edit location modal, locate the Delete Location option at the bottom
  3. A warning pop-up will appear. Type "delete" then click the delete button to confirm the deletion of the location
  4. The location will be deleted, and you will be redirected to the location management page. Click the 'edit' hyperlink in line with the child account
  5. On the Edit Child Account modal, locate the Delete Child Account Owner link at the bottom

Once the child account is deleted, all data associated with that child account will be removed from the parent account.
