If you have already followed the steps here to connect your audio jack swiper to MyTime then please follow the additional step below to ensure your audio jack swiper works with MyTime.
MyTime will ask for permission to access your microphone when you initially set up this device. When using the audio jack swiper the microphone must be allowed. If you pressed allow everything should work fine.
If you pressed do not allow you will need to click your iPad settings icon > privacy > microphone > scroll to the MyTime app and turn access to on 
(see screenshot below).
