Promotions Report

Modified on Fri, 24 Jan at 4:12 PM

Tracking promo code usage by promotion type as well as by client can be essential to managing your expenses. The Promo Code report keeps track of all the promotions applied to closed tickets. You can view the report for specific promotions or all promotions.

Things to know:

  • Custom discounts and membership discounts applied to tickets are not shown on the Promotions report
  • Only closed tickets are displayed on this report
  • If a promotion is applied to a ticket numerous times, the ticket will appear multiple times on the report to account for each item to which it was applied.
  • Historical data for deleted promotions will still be available in this report

To access this report:

  1. Navigate to Dashboard

  2. Select the Reports tab

  3. Under the Point Of Sale section, select the Promotions report

When the report opens, you can narrow the results by modifying the filters. You can filter by location, a specific promotion, the staff member who performed service or sold the product, the staff member who applied the promo code and closed the ticket, the client that received the promotion, and the date the promotion was applied. You can also choose to view the report by date or location. If the By Location button is used at the top of the report, you will be able to easily compare metrics across locations and location groupings to see which locations are doing better or worse on that dimension.

Once you have selected your filters, click on the UPDATE button to generate the desired data.
