Prefilled Appointment Custom Fields

Prefill appointment custom fields can be used to minimize the hassle of re-entering the same information for your clients every time they book an appointment. In this article, we will discuss how prefilling appointment custom fields work. 


Things to know:

  • To configure your custom appointment fields, learn here
  • For recurring appointments, the system will retrieve custom field values of the last appointment created (by creation date, not edit date)
  • Using the Book Again button, Prebook Next Appointment button, or creating any single, recurring, multi-service, or multi-staff appointments for future appointments for the same client will automatically prefill the appointment details and responses. A note will appear on the appointment modal stating, "Data was automatically prefilled! Update if necessary and click 'Save.'"


To view prefilled appointment custom fields:

1. Go to the Schedule

2. Filter by the desired date, location and staff

3. Select the appointment from the schedule

4. Scroll to the bottom of the appointment modal to see the appointment custom fields

5. The appointment custom fields that were previously filled out will retain the information.
